Saint James releases new single and music video for ”Daytona”. 

”They used to race cars on the beach in Florida in the 1950’s, and there’s a few video games based around that stuff; the title’s a reference to both. We didn’t have video games at my house when I was a kid, so birthday parties at the arcade were the best. I’d sit in those plastic seats shaped like a race car, pick a level with palm trees, and get away for a while.”

All of  Miriam Bryant’s interpretations have ended up on Spotify’s top 50 of most played songs in Sweden – something that has never happened before in the program’s history. Having as much as Five songs on the top 50 charts at the same time. And Three of them in the top 10, at the same time.

The evening that Miriam Bryant’s episode was sent, the streaming of her total music catalogue increased by dramatic 3350 % !
