Kilian & Jo feat. Erik Rapp – ‘Suburbia’ (Universal)

Co-written by Mr Radar’s Henrik Jonzon.

”German duo Kilian & Jo have got a new single coming. It’s called ‘Suburbia’, and on it they’ve recruited the vocal talents and writing abilities of Swedish artist Erik Rapp! It’s an upbeat electro track with a BANGING production – that post-chorus in particular is a proper startler.” – Scandipop.co.uk

NAUSE releases new single ”Dynamite” (Warner Music)

Nause is back with their latest single ”Dynamite”!

”Swedish duo Nause have today released their first single in over a year. It’s ‘Dynamite’ and features the vocals of Zac Waters from American band Pretty Sister. The song is a bit of a change in direction for the two Swedes. Gone is the pumping house, and in its place is a more soulful pop tune with an uplifting, infectiously upbeat top-line and beat. It’s a song that is going to sound just as awesome on mainstream radio, as it will on the dance floor. A brilliant comeback from the pair.” – Scandipop.co.uk

They’ll also be playing at the Swedish festival (Stockholm, CA) being held in LA, October 15 (together with: Veronica Maggio, Rebecca & Fiona, Icona Pop, Otto Knows, etc.)

Miriam Bryant #2, and Seeb #4 on the Swedish singles chart.

Miriam Bryant certainly got the magic touch – her new single ”Black car” is setting the Swedish charts alight at #2. Matching her success from ”Så Mycket Bättre”.

And Mr Radar client Seeb currently hold’s it down at #4 with their Coldplay remix of ”Hymn for the weekend”, #35 on the Global Top 50.

Not to forget that ”Mike Posener – I took a pill in Ibiza (Seeb Remix)”, still is at #11 on the Billboard Hot100.

OLSSON ft. Mapei – Hold On, out now!

”Hang on a second! Is it 1989? Are we in Manchester? Can someone pass me some ecstasy so we can talk about HOW TRANSCENDENTAL THE STONE ROSES ARE PLEASE?

Oh. Sorry. This is all about Sweden, which, as all of Europe knows, births the best pop-makers on earth. In this case newbie Olsson blends baggy vibes and gospel goodness with the sharp tongue of Mapei—who we’ve been championing here on Noisey for a minute—plus a smidge of White Town’s seminal hit ”Your Woman.” Zane Lowe’s already on board. Obvi.”

Miriam Bryant’s new single ”Black Car” is finally here

Miriam Bryant is back! After the success last fall with TV4’s music program Så Mycket bättre, the artist finally releases her own music. Today she released the song ”Black Car” – a love song about distance, passion and the insight that nothing lasts forever.

- ”Black Car” describes the first meeting and how it can be perceived, how it was for me anyway, says Miriam. Since there is always so much that you can’t describe in life and love, ”Black Car” stands for itself. I have longed to release my own music since ”Dragon” came out and now it has finally here. I’m so proud of the turnout.

With the songs from Så Mycket Bättre Miriam Bryant dominated Spotify’s ratings last fall. She had three top 10 songs, four songs top 15 and six top 100. To have three songs on the top 10 at the same time is something few Swedish artists have succeeded to.

In 2012 Miriam released her first single ”Finder’s Keepers” and she immediately became the name on everyone’s lips. In early 2013 she released the single ”Push, Play” and the debut album ”Raised in Rain” and in 2014 came the EP ”I Am Dragon” which featured the hit song ”Dragon”. A contract in the US with Interscope (Lady Gaga, Lana Del Rey), club tours in Germany, a song in the movie ”Divergent” and gigs at, among others, talk show host Jimmy Kimmel, MTV music awards – Miriam has an extensive track record that keeps on going forward.
