Sanjin – UK Music Video Awards!

Congrats to our client Sanjin and former client Salvatore Ganacci on their joint nomination in the Best Pop Video category on the UK Music Video Awards 2023. The video was produced by Pulse Films. Other nominated are icons such as Troye Sivan, The Blaze and Paul Kalkbrenner.

Calle Björsell signs publishing with Mr Radar

We are proud to announce that Swedish hit writer Calle Björsell has signed an exclusive publishing contract with Mr Radar. Raised on music in the streets of Stockholm, but living in his own universe, Carl Björsell picked up the Guitar when he was 10 and started touring as a multi instrumentalist by the age of 16. Inspired by all kinds of music – from the soulful arrangements of the likes of Curtis Mayfield, D’Angelo and Prince to 90’s rap to Electric Light Orchestra to U2 to pure and simple pop songs – Carl has the ability to combine the two distinct worlds of two poets into one smooth and passionate vibe, that grasps the listener with a simplicity of purpose. Through the years he has written and produced songs for as wide a range of artists like One Direction, Avicii, Celine Dion and Alok. A few years ago he teamed up with frequent writing and production team with Mr Radar client Julimar Santos and the dynamic duo offers a one stop shop in terms of songwriting and production where Julimar is fluent in Swedish, English, Portuguese and Spanish and Calle being a multi instrumentalist, producer and songwriter. aron wyme scoring new highs with ”2 Baddies” by NCT 127

Since the release of aron wyme’s banger ”2 Baddies” on the NCT 127 album with the same name, numbers are looking quite good. Not only entering Billboard 200 album chart as #3, the song has now sold over 3 million physical copies in Korea and another 500k in Japan and the US. Globals streams and views on platforms like Youtube, Spotify, Kakao, etc are well over 150 million.

Commercial success is great and all, but critical acclaim is fun too. Aron’s production was included on Rolling Stone Magazine’s Top 100 list of best songs of 2022. Read the article here

STO Cultr signs with EMI

EMI Sweden/Universal has just signed the Swedish duo Sto Cultr. They were previously signed to the Universal label Enter Records, a joint venture between Universal Sweden, Universal Germany and the e-gaming powerhouse ESL but when ESL pulled out due to the pandemic where no arena events etc the label seized to exist. During the short period with Enter, Sto Cultr released a few singles that has streamed in excess of 4 million. Now a new chapter starts with EMI Sweden/Universal and new material in the loop. Sto Cultr is Julimar Santos (former rap artist J-Son) och Carl Björsell. They met while writing/producing for other artist and a special musical chemistry emerged… So they formed Sto Cultr (Sto is short for Stockholm). They have previously (and in some cases still) worked with artists like Little Mix, Pitbull, Steve Aoki, Timbuktu, Axwell /\ Ingrosso, Celine Dion, One Direction plus more. But now all focus is on Sto Cultr!

IMLAY ft Chenle from NCT

With the release today of the honey sweet EDM jam from Korean DJ IMLAY, featuring Chenle from supergroup NCT, Jacob Criborn from NAUSE branches out a bit. The song was originally written with Benjamin Ingrosso, but has new Korean lyrics. Anime video had 250k views in only a few hours. AWA features on Jonas Blue

AWA features on the new Jonas Blue single ”Something Stupid”, released today. The song is co-written with Tom Mann, Cleo Tighe and Liohn amongst others. The banger is included in Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist in all major territories, such as the US, UK, Germany, etc. Nice one!
