Seeb is an electronic music trio, consisting of Norwegian musicians and producers Simen Eriksrud, Espen Berg and Nick Strand. In 2015 Simen, Espen and Nick met managers and executive producers Christoffer Huse and Trond Opsahl. They entered into a partnership, and thus the Seeb team was created. Based in Oslo, Norway, Simen, Espen and Nick have been working successfully as producers and songwriters with several chart-topping tracks under their belts.
Seeb released their first remixes in the spring of 2015. They soon had a Hype Machine #1 track with their fresh take on KIESZA´S “Cut Me Loose”, introducing their trademark cutting edge vocal tweaks and treatments. This was followed by a remix of SHAWN MENDES “Stitches”, before they dropped their interpretation of MIKE POSNER´Strack “I Took a Pill in Ibiza”. The now famous remix exploded on Spotify, giving the duo international traction almost overnight. It rose rapidly up the Global Spotify Charts and even sat as high as #4 on the BILLBOARD HOT 100.
Recently however, Seeb has stopped producing records for other artists and has begun to focus completely on their own unique sound and music. At the start of 2016 Seeb signed a global deal with Universal Music, and have been in the studio working on their original music since. Their debut single «Breathe» was released in March 2016 and already has amassed over 70 million streaming plays on Spotify. Their remix of Coldplay’s ”Hymn For The Weekend” currently sits in the Spotify Global Top 30 with over 200 million steaming plays. Their latest single ”What Do You Love” (ft. Jacob Banks) was debuted live at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, California on Friday, October 14th. The track has since amassed over 25 million streams on Spotify and this is only the beginning for Seeb.
